Late October 2020
Lowes Boondocking
We drove to Tucson from los Lunas New Mexico due to a major storm and cold front that was approaching. There was a hard freeze forecast for the next day and we hightailed it out of there! We got hit with some 70 mph crosswinds, but that beautiful diesel pusher stayed in her lane the whole way.
We first stayed at a Lowe’s parking lot for a couple of days, then met a nice fellow named Dennis who showed us the BLM camp just west of town.
We met a lot of nice people while there. The consensus for most was to just stay put and out of harm’s way a few days before the November election.
