400 amps of power!
2 x 200Ah LiFePO4 batteries.
We stopped in Albuquerque to make this upgrade. The golf cart batteries were at the end of their usefulness leaving us without the sliders, levelers and soon the refrigerator. We needed to hook up to shore power ASAP.
The old batteries:
Golf Cart Batteries:
50 amps each, totaling 200, but only 50% useful, for only 100 useable amps of power.
Battery acid was always seeping and I was constantly filling them with distilled water. What a drag!

12.8 volts – 400 amps with 90% of it useful, totaling 360 amps of power, and they’re sealed, maintenance free. No more distilled water or battery acid!

We also added a small Harbor Freight portable solar panel to charge the chassis (starting) batteries.
